This is exactly the moment the Element Optics Nexus Gen II 4-25x50 APR-1C MOA was designed for - a first focal plane precision rifle scope that gives you every tool you need to make the shot count.

First Focal Plane Precision - At Every Power Setting

The Nexus Gen II runs a first focal plane (FFP) configuration, which means the APR-1C MOA reticle scales correctly at every magnification setting. Whether you're dialling down to 4x for a fast shot on a kudu bull pushing through the mopane, or cranking to 25x for a precision hold on a distant gemsbok across the Kalahari pan, your subtensions remain accurate and usable. No mental arithmetic. No margin for error.

The APR-1C MOA Reticle - Designed for Practical Long-Range Use

The APR-1C reticle is a purpose-built precision reticle calibrated in MOA - the preferred unit for many South African long-range shooters and PRS competitors. It provides:

Clear, uncluttered holdover points for wind and elevation corrections

Practical ranging capability in the field

Illumination for low-light shooting - critical during the golden hour on the Bushveld or in the shadows of a dense riverine thicket

34mm Tube - Maximum Adjustment Latitude

The 34mm main tube is not just a structural statement - it directly translates into a wider internal adjustment range. For South African hunters shooting across the varied elevations of the Drakensberg foothills or the long distances of the Northern Cape Karoo, that extra adjustment latitude means you can dial to your target without running out of travel. It also opens up a wider selection of quality 34mm rings and mounts available locally.

Zero Stop Turrets - Confidence in the Field

The Nexus Gen II is fitted with exposed, tactical-style turrets with a Zero Stop function. Dial up for a long shot, then spin back to zero without counting clicks or second-guessing your return. In a hunting scenario - where time is short and pressure is high - this is not a luxury, it's a necessity. The turrets are crisp, positive, and audible, giving you tactile feedback even with gloves on during a cold Highveld morning.

50mm Objective - Light When You Need It Most

The 50mm objective lens pulls in sufficient light to keep your image bright and clear during the critical low-light periods that define African hunting - the first and last 30 minutes of legal shooting light. Paired with quality multi-coated glass, the Nexus Gen II delivers a clean, high-contrast image that helps you read the animal, assess the shot, and execute with confidence.

Built Tough for African Conditions

African hunting is hard on gear.
