Expert advice from our team
The FX True Ballistic is a stand-alone radar chronograph that goes beyond muzzle velocity. It follows the projectile at several distances and works out its real ballistic coefficient in your own conditions. No external trigger, microphone, tripod or power pack is needed.
Know What Your Projectile Really Does
- Measures velocity at four distances out to 300 yards to calculate the actual ballistic coefficient (G1 or G7 drag model)
- Built-in LCD display, so no phone is required; optional Bluetooth link to the FX Radar app for deeper data
- Shows velocity at preset distances, shot count, lowest, highest and average velocity, standard deviation, spread and the distance at which the projectile drops to subsonic speed
- Works with airgun pellets and slugs as well as rifle bullets
- Radar-based, so rain, shade or bright sun make no difference
- USB-C rechargeable internal battery
